The compact, AC/DC-powered Panasonic AJ-HD1200A is ready for a host of active uses. This versatile HD VTR plays all DVCPRO formats (both NTSC and PAL), including DVCPRO HD, and can downconvert HD material for output as standard definition, allowing its use as both an HD and SD viewer. It is able to cross-convert from 720p to 1080i or from 1080i to 720p, allowing the AJ-HD1200A to meet needs in HD cinema production. It also offers HD input and output via an IEEE 1394 Firewire digital interface, allowing it to interface seemlessly with non-linear editors such as Final Cut Pro.
