Lisa Konczal

In 2007, Lisa was one of 20 emerging filmmakers from around the world to receive a grant from the French government to attend the Cannes Film Festival, and premiere her first documentary, Bikini Kansho. Lisa also collaborated on the documentary feature The Gate, narrated by Martin Sheen and distributed theatrically in Japan.
Recently, Lisa was the still photographer for several of Actual Films' segments of Make TV, airing nationally on PBS in 2009, and streaming on several websites. She assisted on National Geographic's Inside Guantanamo, and enjoys teaching movie making to young children at the French American International School. Lisa can also be seen as the Noble Virgin in the documentary, Vampire Secrets, available on DVD and airing on The History Channel.

Lisa graduated with honors from North Carolina State University, and later studied film at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University.
