2009 Emmy Nomination

July 15, 2010 - The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced that Inside Guantanamo has been honored with two News and Documentary Emmy Award nominations:

• Best Documentary
• Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Writing

National Geographic

Inside Guantanamo was broadcast on Sunday, April 5th at 9 PM on the National Geographic Channel as part of the Explorer series. Inside Guantanamo is produced and co-directed by Bonni Cohen, directed and photographed by Jon Else and edited by John Haptas.

Lost Boys of Sudan has been nominated for a 2005 Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Coverage of a News Story-Long Form. Jon Shenk has also received an Emmy nomination for Cinematography: Outstanding Achievements in a Craft.
